SecurIT has selected the project built with our partners Global Smart Rescue (France) and Prendoquota (Italy) in the second batch of funded projects, for safe, secure and resilient territories. We are proud to be winners in one of the disaster resilience categories: “Optimization of disaster communication and warning systems”. The kick-off meeting, held in Vilnius on July 5, 2023, was an excellent opportunity to present our innovative digital solutions to consortium members and other projects.

We will be demonstrating a hardware and software system designed to improve response to technological crises and disasters. In particular, it enables the acquisition and analysis of environmental measurements. It also provides operational teams in the field with the means to optimize their environmental investigation strategy. Finally, the system can be easily deployed within a timeframe compatible with operational requirements during a disaster. It relies on multiple channels (WiFi, GSM, Satellite, IoT) to ensure resilient communication when every second counts.

📣 Over the past few months, we've migrated our infrastructure from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes to facilitate provisioning, monitoring and scalability. This is a huge step towards greater security, reliability, efficiency and maintainability. Indeed, sustainability is the main challenge for Open Source projects.

👏🏼 Our Kargo solution, which has been running in production for years, will therefore be ready to supply Helm cards for years to come.

Our ambition is always to keep our hosting infrastructures up to date for our customers through preventive and adaptive maintenance.

📣 Over the past few months, we've been migrating our ecosystem to the latest versions of the main Open Source projects that are at the heart of our solutions. Today we use NodeJS (v16), FeathersJS (v5), Vue.js (v3) and Quasar (v2). This is a considerable improvement in terms of security, reliability, efficiency and maintainability. Indeed, sustainability is the main challenge facing Open Source projects.

👏🏼 Our Weacast, Krawler, KDK, Kano and Akt'n'Map solutions have been in production for years. Now they'll be ready for the years to come. This would not have been possible without the support of Feathers Cloud Inc. and its founder David Luecke, who has made the biggest external contribution to our ecosystem to date. And the icing on the cake: Weacast is now a Lerna-based monorepo, to make it easier to manage.
